This glider is equipped with an Acoustic Zooplankton Fish Profiler (AZFP), an autonomous, low-power echo sounder that possesses the capabilities to study the abundance, distribution, and behavior of various sizes of fishes and large zooplankton throughout the water column over large spatial scales by measuring acoustic backscatter returns with ultrasonic frequencies. This 3-4 week deployment will test the use of gliders for conducting fisheries and ecosystem surveys in and around the Ocean Wind study site. The AZFP used on this deployment is configured for fish detections (38, 120, and 200 kHz) and this dataset contains the AZFP data analysis output from Echoview. Environmental data from this deployment, including Conductivity, Temperature, Depth (CTD) data and fluorescence data (ie chlorophyll) is available separately on slocum-data.marine.rutgers.edu.\n\ncdm_data_type = TrajectoryProfile\nVARIABLES:\nobs\nDepth_mean (average depth of acoustic measurement cell, m)\nLayer_depth_min (minimum depth of layer, m)\nLayer_depth_max (maximum depth of layer, m)\nprofile_id (profile identifier)\nSv_mean (mean volume backscattering strength, dB)\nNASC (nautical area scattering coefficient, m2 nmi-2)\nABC (area backscattering coefficient, m2 m-2)\nArea_Backscatter_Strength (dB)\nStandard_deviation (standard deviation of volume backscattering strength, 1)\nThickness_mean (average thickness of acoustic measurement cell, m)\nFrequency (echosounder frequency, kHz)\nDifference (difference in Sv between two frequencies, dB)\nExclude_below_line_depth_mean (mean depth of seafloor, m)\nPing_S (ping number at start of measurement cell, 1)\nPing_E (ping number at end of measurement cell, 1)\n...
